The Story

The inspiration for Avali comes from the first pearl necklace my mother gave me, a piece she herself had worn for many years. It was the necklace I kept returning to, and the one that first made me appreciate the beauty of pearls.

With Avali, I wanted to revisit that memory and create my own interpretation of a piece that has been worn and treasured for generations.

A piece rooted in memory, made to become part of someone else's story.

Craft & Composition

The Avali Necklace is made with freshwater pearls, individually knotted on black silk thread. The knots create a contrast against the white pearls while preventing them from rubbing against one another. Each pearl is selected for its natural lustre and shape. The necklace is completed with BÉ ORA’s signature clasp, developed with an asymmetrical design and a thick layer of 18K gold plating. Its custom gold tone is inspired by the softer, warmer colour of traditional Swedish gold.
